Waitlist privacy

Bryce runs this Dervo waitlist. Joining saves your email address and signup time so we can tell you when Dervo is ready to try. Signup confirms on this page only. We don't send a confirmation email.

What we collect

The waitlist stores your email in lowercase, with spaces at either end removed, and the time you joined. We don't ask for your name, company or workspace content.

To limit automated signups, the server turns your IP address into a keyed hash and stores short-lived request counters separately from the waitlist. The application doesn't store your raw IP address or attach the counter to your email. Counters older than 24 hours are removed when the next valid signup request reaches the database. They can remain longer while the site is idle.

Where it goes

The site uses Cloudflare Workers hosting and Cloudflare D1 database storage. Cloudflare receives connection details, including your IP address, to serve the site. Hosting providers may retain operational and security logs under their own policies. The signup code doesn't log email addresses or request bodies.

When a new signup is saved, the server can send Bryce an owner notification through Resend. That notification goes only to bryce@trydervo.com and contains an internal event ID and signup time, not your email address. Resend Free retention is recorded as 30 days and should be rechecked before launch. Bryce's mailbox may keep its own copy under Google retention settings.

This site doesn't add analytics, advertising trackers or signup cookies. Your email isn't sold or shared for advertising. We'll use it for Dervo launch updates, not unrelated marketing.

Keeping or removing your email

Bryce will delete waitlist emails from the active database within 90 days after the waitlist closes, or earlier if you ask at bryce@trydervo.com. Deletion is handled manually, not by an automatic expiry job. On the Cloudflare D1 Free plan, database recovery history can retain earlier copies for up to seven days after deletion. Cloudflare's operational and security logs follow its own retention policies.
