Other setups rely on the agent to report on itself. Dervo keeps its own record.

Dervo knows because it starts the runs itself. Sessions you start in tmux or another app won’t show up in Home, but you can import the past Claude Code and Codex conversations you want to keep.

Start a task in Claude’s or Codex’s own cloud, on the plan you have, and follow it in Home with the laptop closed. Codex’s cloud needs an environment you set up on chatgpt.com/codex. When Dervo can’t see the run, it says “unknown”.

Give an agent a name, a brief and its own account, then @mention it in a thread. Routines you set up in plain words report in Home only when something moved.
Hold Option-Space from any app and say what’s next. Speech recognition runs on your Mac after a one-time 830 MB download, it needs macOS 14 or later, and anything that pushes, deploys or deletes waits for you to say yes.
Privacy
Your Mac is the brain, Anthropic’s and OpenAI’s clouds are the muscle. Dervo doesn’t host your code or resell AI usage.
Your code, your threads, the record of every run and your project memory.
Your account and plan. Usage and error reports with no code, file paths or text, on by default, with one switch in Settings to turn them off. Feedback, only when you send it.
What your agents send, under your own accounts, the same as using Claude Code or Codex on their own.
